The importance of young creatives getting a chance
Yiannis Maos, CMO of Hyve has joined Creative Directors from some of the biggest Ad Agencies in the UK to help nurture the next generation of creative leaders as part of the Graeme Robertson Trust (GRT). Even though Yiannis isn’t a Creative Director the Graeme Robertson Trust wanted him as a Trustee because of his customer-focused approach to innovation, design and marketing. He joins Directors from Ogilvy, Saathci & Saatchi, WPP and The Prince’s Trust. The Trustee’s will regularly meet with students and recent graduates to give them critique and career advice.
The GRT is a charity named after Graeme Robertson, the legendary creative director. It’s in his name that the GRT acts as a launch pad for creative careers. Together, with the Direct Marketing Association and Institute of Direct Marketing they work to ensure that any young person who wishes to enter the creative advertising and marketing industry has the right skills, support and opportunities in order to thrive.
